You have questions about your diabetes?

A diagnosis of Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) in a child is always a shock. It will immediately change the child’s life. Overnight, children and their families must learn to carefully manage the disease. Like it or not, they will become the real experts.

From the onset of the disease, there will be many questions about diabetes and these questions vary according to the different stages in the child’s life. Please feel free to call us or write to us.

If you are a parent, you probably have followed the diabetes training offered in Quebec healthcare centers. If not, we strongly advise you to contact either your child’s physician, the diabetes clinic where your child is treated, or your CLSC.
Before changing treatment or control methods for your insulin-dependent diabetic child, please discuss these changes with his or her physician.
