Ongoing Support
Your donations help Fred support both children and parents in their daily lives by providing telephone support, education and information so that their child’s school or daycare can fully understand the issues and risks. Fred also provides welcome kits to give you valuable tools on how to manage T1D. Fred’s Foundation creates opportunities for parents and children to meet and share, to raise awareness, to bring together pediatric diabetes health professionals and holds other social events

Your donations help fund children’s stays at Camp Carowanis and support operations that require a lot of equipment, expensive medical supplies, camp counselors and care staff.

Breaking the disease’s isolation
Your donations help organize information, training and supporting events for families of children and teens with T1D, such as the T1D Discovery Zone. Your donations also fund activities for young people, allowing them to break the isolation and share with those living with the same challenges.
