Motivation : Since the age of 8, I have been lucky enough to grow up surrounded by people living with diabetes who are so inspiring to me, full of joy and full of tools to accompany us through this journey of living with diabetes. It is now my greatest pleasure to give back and support these courageous children and their caring families.

Motivation : When my daughter was 8 years old and diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, I was so reassured by the entire Fred and Camp Carowanis team. Being a volunteer allows me to give back. In all simplicity, I listen, I observe and when opportunity comes, I lend a hand and reassure everyone so that they can discover their full potential. It is always a privilege to collaborate with the team at Fred and Carowanis

Motivation : I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes when I was five years old. Three years later, I discovered the Carowanis camp and the FRED foundation. This is where one of my most beautiful life experiences began. I had the chance to grow up with such a beautiful community of inspiring, warm and sincerely altruistic people. I learned to develop my autonomy alongside people living the same reality as me. It is a family that welcomed me with open arms and with which I had the privilege of evolving. Giving my time was only a tiny way to thank them.

Motivation : I am Sarah-Maude's mother. For ten years now, our family has bonded with FRED and Camp Carowanis. It is thanks to the family weekends, at the very beginning, that we experienced a benevolent welcome, in generosity and sharing. All this mutual aid allows you to accept and improve several facets of life with type 1 diabetes. Finally, the greatest gift is to see your child flourish and live harmoniously with diabetes. This is why I am wholeheartedly involved with this precious foundation. Thank you, sincerely, to all these dedicated people.
